Morning Porridge

Ingredients

1 Cup Rolled Oats

3 Cups Water

1 Cinnamon Stick

2 Tbsp Chia Seeds

2 Tbsp Hemp Seeds

2 Tbsp Flaxseed (Ground)

1 Tsp Crushed Fennel Seeds

1/4 Tsp Carom (Ground)

5 Dates

2 Tbsp Raisins

1/4 Cup Almonds


Sweeter options

(add one to taste)

1/4 Cup Brown Sugar

2 Tbsp Honey

1 Tbsp Maple Syrup


1 Tsp Spirulina

Milk for consistency (I use Macadamia)

Fruits, nuts, seeds to top


Directions

In a sauce pot on medium heat, throw in the oats and water. Follow by adding in the cinnamon, chia seeds, hemp seeds, flaxseed, fennel seeds, and carom. Stir.


Add in some chopped dates, raisins, and almonds. Add a sweeter option to your liking.


After about 10-15 minutes the consistency will become thick. You can then they it off the heat. Spoon some into a bowl.


I then add Macadamia milk and stir till I reach my desired consistency. Add in the spirulina, followed by fruits, nuts, seeds of your liking. Enjoy!
